PEOPLE OVER POLITICS.
Many of you already know me. We’ve worked together, fought for our community together, and celebrated together when we accomplished what others said could not be done.
Over the years, you’ve trusted me to serve as Mayor, City Councilor, Port Commissioner, Chamber President, MCMC Board Chair, Adventist Health Columbia Gorge Board Vice-Chair and in several regional and State level leadership roles. Most campaigns will talk about “proven leadership.” For me, leadership is simpler than that. It’s about showing up, year after year, when things are hard and staying at the table until the work gets done.
We know each other. We know what can be accomplished when we focus less on politics and more on getting things done. I’m ready to get to work for you: the good people of Wasco County.
No agendas. No promises.
Every candidate will have agendas and talking points but buzzwords do not lead to real tangible results. Strengthening our economy and bettering living conditions for everyone will always be a necessity but how we work towards those things should be the focus. “No promises” means putting words into action and working toward the goal. I will be focused on listening to the people of all parts of this county and their unique viewpoints because nobody knows these communities better than those who live in them. There is one fact and that is I will always work hard for the good people of Wasco County.

The Candidate.
Robb is a proud eighth-generation Oregonian, born in Wasco County in The Dalles. He spent his teenage years in Pendleton before attending and graduating from Oregon State University and began raising a family. When his children were young Robb and his wife, Lisa, made the decision to return home to The Dalles where Robb began working for Wasco County. There, they built their lives and have had the joy of watching their children—and now several grandchildren—grow and thrive within the Wasco County community.
Throughout his career, Robb has held numerous leadership roles across both local and state government, as well as in prominent regional and national organizations. His service includes positions such as Chair of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) International Board of Directors, Chair of the Compensation Committee for the Wounded Warrior Project, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for SAIF Corporation, Chair of the Board of Trustees for Mid-Columbia Medical Center, and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Adventist Health Columbia Gorge.
Robb’s deepest sense of accomplishment comes from serving his local community. He served the City of The Dalles as Mayor for five terms, helping to attract private investment, create jobs, and reconnect the historic downtown to the Columbia River. In addition, he dedicated 15 years to Wasco County as Director of Employee and Administrative Services.
Robb is committed to continuing that legacy of service and leadership and would be honored to serve the community as County Commissioner, Position #1.
